Weird Creature
Weird Creature are a 3 piece group with guitar/vox, double bass, and drums. Taking blues and jazz/blues forms and try to twist them into new contexts with some indie songwriting sensibility – and have some fun with it along the way. Formed in 2023 by Guy Weir, James Hitchins and Guy’s Jazz drummer neighbour Elmer Van der Hoek.
Playing:
50 creepshow, Gothic Americana, 50s beatnik, outsider blues. Drawing inspiration from such artists as Link Wray, Tom Waits, Elvis, David Lynch, to Suicide, Timber Timbre maybe even sometimes the Doors.

Featuring members of Essex based Ska band New Town Kings: Daniel ‘Dabs’ Bonner, Rob Band and NTK horn section Rory Sadler and Rob Landen. Digital and live elements combined for phat groves, big bass and heavy tunes! So get your dancing shoes on and get skanking!

Since 2022, this high-energy Essex/Suffolk band has been tearing up stages with their infectious pop-punk covers – think crowd-jumping choruses, mosh-worthy riffs, and non-stop fun. If you love Blink-182, Green Day, and Sum 41, you won’t want to miss their set!
