The third DARKR PARTY event took place on Friday 6th June on top floor of Three Wise Monkeys in Colchester high street. As the Sister party to @deeprhouse, the DJ’s take it where it gets dark and dirty
Highlights included
@theacidbrothers laying down some heavy breaks for two full on hours of pure shock and awe and total sonic destruction, demanding the attention of the dance floor.
@rich_dq taking on the techno side of things with a set that weaved in and out of new and old, and giving goosebumps to the heads by finishing with Neal Howard’s Indulge from back in the day.
@bazbriggs dropping LFO – LFO and the bass shaking the rooom so much, that the console in the booth had to be held in place in case it fell off, and the birth of Techno Baz
@cyberdog giving an absolute masterclass on how to work two turntables and a mixer, with a deep and dark acid set, that showed us why he truly is the best around at what he does.
Pretty sure we will do another one…….
